Crafted under the creative direction of Julien Sprecher, it is designed to evoke a contrast between traditional 18th-century French nobility and modern, refined aromatic craftsmanship. The scent profile is famously recognized for its sophisticated "light and shadow" composition, taking an approachable, westernized twist on traditional oud and saffron by balancing them with a smooth, sweet gourmand backbone.

- The Dry Down: The base is heavily woody and enduring. The natural agarwood (oud) used here is clean, sharp, and highly polished, stripped of the harsh or animalic "funk" often found in traditional Middle Eastern perfumery.
