Prada L'Homme Intense is a highly acclaimed Amber Woody fragrance for men launched in 2017. While the original Prada L'Homme Eau de Toilette (EDT) is widely celebrated as the ultimate clean, "white shirt" office fragrance, the Intense version (an Eau de Parfum) takes that identical clean DNA and flips it into something much darker, warmer, and more seductive.
Because licensing for Prada fragrances shifted from Puig to L'Oréal, production has stopped, making it officially discontinued and increasingly rare to find in traditional retail stores. However, bottle stock can still be acquired through select online discount fragrance warehouses.
Scent Profile & Breakdown
Crafted by master perfumer Daniela Andrier, the fragrance is a velvety, multi-layered blend that centers around a dry, powdery iris backed by deep, resinous elements.
- Top Notes: Iris (rich, powdery, and slightly waxy/lipstick-like).
- Heart Notes: Amber and Patchouli (adding a dry warmth and deep, earthy masculinity).
- Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Leather, and Sandalwood (giving the dry-down a smooth, creamy, and faintly sweet, roasted signature).
Performance & Wearability
- Longevity: Outstanding. It is a powerhouse Eau de Parfum that consistently lasts between 8 to 10+ hours on the skin.
- Projection & Sillage: Heavy but polished. It projects confidently within close-to-moderate range without completely overwhelming a room. Because of its intensity, it is recommended to go light on the trigger.
- Best Occasions: Due to its rich, cozy, and leather-accented character, it excels in fall and winter weather, evening wear, date nights, or formal events. It is generally too heavy and dense for hot summer days or the gym.
