This one opens with a rugged spiced tobacco and leather opening. Some pepper but I wouldn’t call it super obvious. It settles down and becomes much more elegant and smooth leather pretty fast. A couple hours in this one changes to show a somewhat wavy iris/ super amber base that becomes more prominent as the leather all but disappears. Interesting evolution but I am not wild about the drydown. Still a quality scent with a wonderful opening, decent longevity and pretty good projection, though I wouldn’t call it a beast.
